Laying Our Foundations: Brick by Brick

Hello fellow Writers, Readers, and Friends,
We want to begin todays post with this word of encouragement not just for you but for ourselves as well.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season | Psalm 1:3
From this word we sustain the principle that having a firm foundation is so important in everything and all that we do. And of course, in our case it is standing on God's word, his power and his strength.
Essentially, we are following His lead on the path we have embarked upon to build the publishing house for His glory and purpose.
For the past couple of months, we have been heavily focused on the productivity of our imprints. These are the cornerstone of Capsonart's operation, our goals, vision, mission and purpose.

We have updated our bookshop by making our legacy writers print available. The bookshop is open and all our books are available for pre-order. (dates may vary).
Author Spotlight/All About Books
Truly at its grassroots level, as a marketing campaign initiative we are showcasing our authors and their books to generate awareness and foster connection with their narratives.
Writers Prompts
Writer's Prompt is a special project we are currently working on behind the scenes. As part of this project, we will occasionally share prompts, created by us, exclusively on our website. From time to time, we will also share small tidbits on our other social media channels.
All About Books
It goes without saying that our Books in Production are a crucial part of our Kickstarter journey. They serve as the cornerstone of our narratives and the foundation of Capsonart’s recognition as a Canadian book publisher. Over the past few months, we have dedicated significant time to developing these books. With future titles in the works, these publications are paving the way for our continued growth and success. OUR LAUNCH PHASE
Do you remember when we took a moment to discuss about foundations in relation to the metaphoric concepts of construction?
In case you are new here and discovering our blog posts for the first time, you can go check it out HERE . But in short we delved into the principles and aspects of what it means to NOT DESPISE small beginnings.
Accepting this as our truth and recognizing our progress as both a business and a ministry, we are 100% committed to laying a solid foundation. Below we have fine-tuned our updated version of our primary launch phases in six parts. Details about our phases can be found here

After taking a step back to reassess, we turned our attention to writing and re-evaluated our production process. Throughout October and continuing into November, we are focusing significantly on our brand development, writing, and ensuring our bookshop is fully operational.

Our intention is to create a fully functional and valuable experience by the time we reach the sixth phase and achieve full operational status as a faith-based publishing house.
FAQ. WHEN WILL CAPSONART
PUBLISHING ACCEPT MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS?
We understand there may be questions about each phase of our process, especially regarding if and when we will accept manuscript submissions.
The short answer is that we are currently closed to submissions. However, we are actively preparing to open for submissions in the near future.
"When will that be?" you may ask.
The exact date is still under discussion, but we anticipate it will be soon.
Our primary objective is to ensure that our on-boarding process and overall operations are altogether intact before we open our doors to new writers. We do invite you to join our members community. This is where we will share exclusive dates about our launch, kick-starter dates, and more.

WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED FOR 2025 AND BEYOND
2024 has been a year filled with major LEARNING opportunities.
With a reflection into our beginnings and recognizing the stages of our progression, we have come to realize that our startup phases were REALLY not about STARTING NOW. But is has been about ensuring our foundation has and is laid right.
What does this mean?
It simply means as we said before, we are not despising our small beginnings, and we are taking intentional steps with everything we do. We have identified the areas that need improvement from a business, creative, and operational standpoint. With our brands development, we are committed to intentionally setting the right pieces in place.
