Our Story | The Founding Narratives
With several projects in the works, the first two books to set the stage were published in 2020. "I Want To Sing Your Song (40-Day Daily Devotional)" was co-authored by Capsonarts founder, Alitta PS Cadmus, and her sister, Mel M Walters, who is also a Legacy Writer for Capsonart.
"Roses Among Thorns: Flourishing In the Midst of Adversity" had been in the works for over ten years by Legacy Writer Marie R. Vaughan-Cadmus. It was published on the same date as the two other books, which marked the beginning of a literary ministry that would evolve into a publishing company on the west side of Canada.
Before reaching this milestone, the owner, Cadmus, had primarily focused on developing her craft as a fine arts student and a creative writing author. Meanwhile, Marie had dedicated her time to the field of health and wellness, completing her studies as a health counselor.
To date, Capsonart Publishing is in its first phase of launching by working on the first 5 Book projects.
Our Story | The Name
The name Capsonart came from the idea that the owner and founder Alitta PS Cadmus maintained a strong passion for the arts. Recognizing that she had to write her name on her artwork, she took the initials of her name and created the name CAPSONART.
The image you see here was created at a time when the founder had no inkling that it would eventually become the name of her publishing company. She designed the image while exploring her creativity and newfound freedom during a digital design course at university.
