This week, we are so excited and elated to spotlight our founding member of our writing team M.C Vaughan - Cadmus.



ABOUT AUTHOR M.C VAUGHAN CADMUS


Truly a rose by name, character and importantly by her resilience, M.C Vaughan- Cadmus is an astounding writer and speaker within the faith-based community. Alongside our team of writers, she is an emerging author who has played vital role to our founding beginnings and growth. The journey to writing and authorship emerged for our dear writer even before she knew it would be the journey to lead her to write her first book, Roses Among Thorns, Flourishing In The Midst Of Adversity.


Vaughan-Cadmus' testimony, and message is a way to demonstrate to others that they are not alone. Transparent and reflective, Roses Among Thorns, highlights the areas in her life where she has had to learn to virtually trust in God.

 

She was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica, where she encountered varying experiences that have enabled her to be the voice for those who have struggled through categories of loss, grief, abuse in its forms and life challenges.

 

At the age of eight, Vaughan-Cadmus experienced her first encounter with grief from the death of her father. The trajectory of her life took a turn and the dynamics of her life as she knew it was not the same.


Quoting from her book it reads


“From the moment we are born to the instant we take our first breath, the trajectory of our lives is established, yet one certainty remains: we can never predict or anticipate when trouble will come knocking” [1]

Through the ups and downs of her life’s journey, she has survived her way among thorns.

 With a background in mental health and holistic healing, M.C Vaughan-Cadmus dedicates her life and heart to serve those in search of something more. Committed and married to her purpose, by profession, she provides counselling whilst hosting health & wellness support groups. A Sunday school teacher for over 20 years, she has taught the word of God applying practical and holistic elements in her teaching.


At Capsonart we are truly grateful and propound to have her on our team as a legacy writer, and as our founding member for our company’s growth, purpose and mission.



The new edition of Roses Among Thorns: Flourishing In The Midst of Adversity is set to be released in the near future. It will be apart of Capsonart Writers Legacy Collection.
